Fiordland Penguins have a distinctive yellow stripe on their forehead, a black head, white belly, and a slate-grey back. They are medium-sized penguins, reaching heights of about 25-30 inches (63-76 cm) and weighing around 8-12 pounds (3.5-5.5 kg).
